Maintenance Agreement

Now that your bronze has been duly installed and handed over to you for safekeeping quite understandably Bronze Restorations presume that you would wish to keep it in a first class condition at all times.

In this harsh atmospheric environment if you do not maintain the bronze it will begin to show signs of blooming (drying out of wax), become patchy, streaks will form and eventually black and green verdigris will appear on the surface of the alloy. This is normally most unacceptable and is not giving the desired appearance that the bronze was originally designed to do.

Accordingly, with every refurbished or newly installed bronze work we offer a fully comprehensive Maintenance Agreement to prevent the above damage occurring. This will take care of the metalwork as it begins to mellow and form a rich antique patina on the surface of the alloy which is achievable by us and is most admired on bronze.
